ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT
Long before going ‘Green’ was fashionable or considered a corporate responsibility Bellcomb made the commitment to manufacture products and use processes that are fundamentally resource efficient. Bellcomb’s products use fewer raw materials in their manufacture and consume fewer natural resources.
Bellcomb is the first composite panel manufacturer to offset it’s carbon footprint. By doing this, Bellcomb is demonstrating how mid-sized manufacturers can minimize their carbon footprint. Bellcomb’s annual footprint is 974 tons of carbon dioxide, which when offset, is equal to taking 180 passenger cars off the road for a year.
Responsible environmental decisions are a way of life at Bellcomb. Our company wide energy usage policies encourage conservation and resource stewardship. Continually upgrading to more efficient equipment and facility fixtures is an expense we gladly incur, despite the impact it may have on our bottom line.
While we are proud of our history and commitment to being environmentally conscientious, we are focused on continual improvement. This focus is what drives us to evaluate the environmental impact of the choices we make every day and the decisions we make in running our business.
In addition to the daily choices we make, Bellcomb supports the following nonprofit environmental organizations:
